Day 122 - Cleaning Up
I camped near a spring fed pond and welcomed the sight of other hikers resting nearby.
For the past few hundred miles, traffic has felt pretty light, with many of my interactions being with those heading the other way.
I came across another southbounder this morning, a spunky young lady who first hiked the PCT two decades ago with a llama.
I imagine there are seasons when this landscape is verdant, but today the grass resembled the shade of sand.
By early afternoon I was as hot and sticky as I've ever been and nearly leapt for joy at the sight of this.
Feeling much better, I continued on my way.
I crossed paths with more water.
And long after nightfall, called it a day.
